Travelling with more than just hand luggage
If you want to take a dog, bicycle or large items of luggage with you, you will need a special ticket (Extrakarte). Find out here what to do. By the way, wheelchairs, rollators and prams can always be transported free of charge with the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe.

Free of charge: prams, wheelchairs and rollators
Prams are transported free of charge unless they are used for a different purpose than for transporting small children, e.g. for luggage, animals, etc. In such cases, you must buy a special ticket (Extrakarte) in the necessary price category for each pram. Bike trailers and handcarts transporting children are transported free of charge.
There is also no charge for wheelchairs or rollators. Passengers dependent on orthopaedic aids, who require assistance with boarding and alighting, are requested to call us beforehand so we can provide assistance. Users of electric scooters and electromobiles should check the tariff and transportation conditions.
